ISSDA is organizing its 2nd international conference 'Stainless 2002 - Markets and Applications' in Mumbai on Friday 6 th and Saturday 7 th December 2002. This will be a sequel to Stainless '98 held in Ahmedabad in November 1998.

The focus of the conference will on market trends in India and around the world and on applications for stainless steels in a wide variety of end-use sectors. Special emphasis will be on neighbouring Asian countries, which have powered a dynamic increase in the use of stainless steel for the architecture and building sector. ISSDA is leveraging its widespread international network for ensuring an impressive assembly of industry representatives from around the world. Many internationally renowned speakers from around the world are expected at the conference to share their experience and expertise.

A very small but focused exhibition is planned indoors. Exhibitors with products or services relating to Architecture, Building & Con-struction (ABC) and Automotive, Railways & Transportation (ART) will be preferred as these are the focus areas of the Conference.

The Regent Mumbai, at Lands End, Bandra West, will be the confer- ence venue.

stainlessindia.org will have downloadable archives of photographs of applications of stainless steels as well as technical articles and reports.
